Payments to you for withdrawals

With effect from 26 March 2020 Margetts Fund Management will no longer be making settlement for withdrawals by cheque due to the impact of the Covid-19 restrictions on our staff availability. Therefore, please provide bank details to us as part of your withdrawal request. Any withdrawal instructions that are received without bank details will still be processed but we will not be able to pay out your settlement monies until suitable bank details are received.

We will validate the bank details that you provide. Any accounts failing validation will require additional proof of ownership in the form of a voided cheque, voided paying in slip or a bank issued document. If you have a financial adviser, we may also be able to work with them to obtain suitable information.

Investors that have elected to receive withdrawal proceeds by bank transfer will receive payment in the normal timeframe.

Distribution Payments

Please be advised that with effect from 26 March 2020 Margetts Fund Management will temporarily suspend the payment of distributions by cheque due to the difficulty in meeting essential staffing requirements due to the government’s Covid-19 restrictions.
If you are invested in an income-paying shareclass you have the following options:

  • to move to an accumulation class, where the distributions will remain in your investment;
  • ask us to hold on to the distribution proceeds until such time as a cheque can be issued; or
  • to provide us with bank details so payment can be made to you.
