An Introduction to the Company

Herbert Margetts was a founding member of the Birmingham Stock Exchange in 1875 and went on to chair the exchange in 1892, being involved in several flotations including Lloyds. Many things have changed in financial markets since then, however the Margetts name continues to be synonymous with high levels of service and innovation.

Margetts began to provide portfolio management services to private clients, pension funds, professional trustees and corporations in 1981 and are proud of the fund performance and additional value which has been added to our clients’ portfolios. Our performance has attracted professional acknowledgement with the Margetts Fund Management team winning numerous awards for investment management over the years.
